The frequency and signal control unit is for stimulation reaction measuring instruments with storable programmes. A particular frequency is allocated for each stimulus, and the sequence of frequencies is stored on magnetic tape. An electronic filter unit separates, rectifies and amplifies the signals for delivery to the instrument, so as to initiate the necessary pattern of stimuli in the latter. Alongside these frequencies an auciliary programme can be played back in synchronism on the second track of the cassette, having set environmental influences.
