At least one of the aggregate for the generation of steam and/or smoke in a stove for the treatment of foodstuffs, and also for the cleaning of the stove, is built into the door. Pref. the aggregate is accessible from outside. Alternatively it is accessible from the inside, and it may be accessible through an additional door supported by the stove door. The new design leaves the floor free for the goods trolley and the whole volume of the stove can be used. The building of the aggregate into an existing door is simple and inexpensive.
