Pressure regulator device, part 3 of which connects to a reservoir being connected to one side of a biassed member 11 which, when subject to predetermined pressure, uncovers a tubular sliding member to provide a path for reservoir air into a pilot pressure chamber 15 and depress a piston 14 to unseat a valve 24 between a compressor input port 2 and atmosphere 23, the tubular sliding member being acted upon by the biassed member when reservoir pressure falls to close-off the path for reservoir air to the pilot chamber and to be moved against a pilot chamber vent valve member 20 carried in the piston to unseat it and vent the pilot chamber, the span between pilot chamber pressurising and venting thereby being dependent upon the movement of the tubular member between the closing-off of the air path therethrough and the unseating of the pilot chamber vent valve.
