Hood type hair dryer with motor driven blower - has heating element in hood jacket preventing overheating

Hot air inside the hood (2) is eriven by a motor-driven blower. The actual heating foil (6) is set in the jacket face of the hood (2). A very large heating surface is thus provided for the heat exchange between the air and heating element so that the temp. of the latter need not be so high as that of a heating element set directly behind the blower. Even if the dryer becomes defective and the air flow becomes uneven overheating does not occur.
