Opto-electronic coordinate measuring sensor - has exchangeable sensors tiltable about zero point and rotatable about their main axes

The opto-electrical sensor makes contact with, and determines unknown outlines on, multiple coordinate measuring equipment. It has exchangeable sensor elements floatingly supported in two axes, tiltable without backlash and friction about a certain zero point. The sensor elements are also rotatable about their main axis free from backlash and friction. A position-sensitive signal generator forms the equipment's own plane coordinate system. The signal generator can be formed from a position-sensitive photo diode giving an analogue indication and working with one or several light sources.
