Storage of long fuel elements esp. from water-cooled reactors - in upper and lower lattice plates without connecting rigid frame

A storage appts. for long fuel elements, esp. for light-water reactors, comprises upper and lower lattice plates for securely holding the elements upright. These two lattice plates are not rigidly connected together but are attached to separately mounted support. Specifically, the lattice plates are suspended. A rigid rack or frame structure as such is eliminated, thus considerably simplifying design and reducing cost.
