The relay network has all its stations controlled synchronously by the same clock signal (T). Each member, e.g. En, consists of three functional stages (A-C). The first stage generates a control pulse (B) lasting from the start of the leading or trailing edge of the input signal (sn) to the next edge of a clock pulse. The second stage halves the control pulses from the first stage. The third stage logically combines the input signal (Sn) with the output of the second stage and the output of the first stage.
