The hot water storage tank with two pairs of coils has one coil formed as a double coil housed in the upper part above a double coil in the lower part. Both coils have an outer winding enclosing a smaller diameter inner winding. The bottom region (4) forms a heating zone where water heated by the bottom coil travels upwards to a heat receiving zone where the upper coil receives heat from the water.
