The novelty lighting device using a light guide fibre bundle (1) has a housing whose front gives the visual effect. Inside is a chamber between a rear mirror (3) and a front mirror (9) which is partly transparent. Both mirrors may be plane or curved, and the fibre bundle is positioned between them. The bundle spreads out from the centre of the rear mirror, with a light source at the connection point (2), to the front mirror, where the tips are distributed in the random manner over its inside surface. The light source consists of a lamp (4) with a lens (5) and a mirror (6) forming beam directed onto the fibre bundle. Coloured discs can be rotated in front of the light source, and can be interposed in a random manner. Further illuminated devices (11) can be mounted around the periphery of the front face.
