The underfloor heating system using distributors (10) for the heating medium which may serve more than one circuit, has main supply connections and return connections (14) in the form of holes through the casing, coaxial with each other. A number of distributors may be connected together in line, interconnecting these holes. The heating coils can then be connected to side outlets (17, 18) and bottom outlets (15, 16). In the direction of the axis of the main supply pipes, the side supply connections alternate with the side return connections. The outermost distributors can be fitted with muffs (24) for connection with the main pipes and end caps (23) with sealing sleeves (21) and sealing rings.
