Floating aerator for liquids - with floating frame rotated by reaction opposite to direction of immersed impeller

An immersed floating aerator for surface waters and liquids to be aerated in basins has a vertical impeller inside an air intake tube which is suspended from a spider resting on floats. The drive motor is also mounted on the spider. The reaction moment of the impeller causes the spider to revolve slowly in the opposite directions and to drag a chain loop, fixed to the floats, along the bottom. The circulatory and aeration action thus reaches all parts of the liquid-filled space uniformly. The new aeration system can be applied where the available space is extremely restricted and most not exceed the area of the aerator itself.
