The diagnostic appts. is used particularly for early detection of cancerous cells in the womb. It consists of a ballon-type hose filling out the lumen of the womb, and an inserting portion. The hose (2) is fixed to the inserting porion (1) and can be inverted in the lumen of the womb. It can be extended by pressure from a syringe etc., and inflated. The insertion portion, the hose, the catheter (3) and the syringe can be sealed together and off from the outside air.
