The movable market stall comprises a towable trailer with a roof-covered sales counter and forwardly and rearwardly extendable counter elongations which are also provided with a roof. The length of the extensions equals that of the trailer, and they are arranged above one another when in transit. One of the extensions together with its roof can be stowed in the space between the counter surface and the roof while the other extension together with its roof is stowed in the same space above the first. To facilitate stowing, the extensions may be provided with rollers at their under sides.
