The high-voltage resistant transformer is made with a metallic casing and has separate terminal contact elements. It is a small unit and the metallic casing which is necessary to avoid cross-talk has sufficient insulation thickness. The housing (2) is made from two half shells (3, 4) which can be joined at the collar. There is a metallic covering (11) with the terminal contact tags (9, 10) at opposite ends. The covering is secured in a circumferential slot. The two shells (3, 4) produce two cavities which contain the mounting sockets (6, 7) with the terminal tags inside.
