Decorative paving with pattern of small stones - involves assembling concrete stones on large concrete slab for unit laying

Small concrete stones are assembled in a decorative mosaic, or row pattern to form a pavement unit. A number of such concrete stones (2) are assembled together and embedded with their underside, in a concrete slab (3), to make up a concrete paving slab (1). The stones are pref. twice as high as the slab underneath, which can be between 20 X 20 cm and 120 X 120 cm in size. Joint gaps (4) may be left between individual stones. The pattern may be regular or irregular.
