The arrangement is intended for a tube post system. It connects a sending station (3, or 4) in a cell (1 or 2) contg. contaminated atmos. to a receiving station (4 or 3) in a cell (2 or 1). There is a vacuum connection (10) via valves (20, 21) lines (8, 9) and further valves (18, 19). When the sending station is closed, the receiving station is connected to vacuum (via 21, 9, 19 or 20, 8, 18) and the sending station then connected valves (12, 18 or 13, 19) to atmos. (14) or alternatively connected via valves (15, 18 or 16, 18) to an inert gas supply (17). The gas taken from the receiving station is passed to a gas decontamination unit (11).
