A coffee making machine consists of a housing a water container, coffee container and a water heating installation with a rising pipe to a coffee filter super-imposed above the coffee container. The water and coffee containers are located in one housing (12) which has a vertical separating wall. The outer wall of the housing is cylindrical in shape. The water heating installation consists of a heating element (35) positioned inside the water heating pipe line and enclosed by the hot water chamber. The largest part of the water heating installation, which is bent in a circular shape, lies under the coffee container.
