A slot of a thickness equal to that of the material exists between the counter hooks and the glass carrier. This is designed so that in the event of a slight sideways movement of the glass carrier the material is located between the hook and the base carrier. The device is intended to prevent the jumping of the cams from the holes during strong shaking of the vehicle which used to damage the base metal, caused a tilting of the glass base supports and damaged the glass panes.
