So as to make the frequency spacing between the pass-bands wider, in order to obtain greater selectivity for the part of the band-pass utilised in the microwave filter with a conductive housing holding the parallel arranged mutually spaced conductors, the mutual spacing (13, 14) of the latter varying over their length in the form of stepped zones. The conductors (13, 14) are specif. arranged symmetrically to one another and have stepped zones of equal length (s) and equal spacing from the longitudinal centre line running between teh contactors. The narrow ends fit into high frequency connectors, which are equipped with square section end pegs (17, 19).
