Training appts. for long distance skier - consists of pair of levers held like ski-stocks with brakes and weights to adjust resistance to movement

The training appts. is used to strengthen the arms and body muscles used for long distance skiing. The ski transfer consists of a pair of two armed levers (10) lined up as regards their horizontal turning axes, braked in respect of their turning movement, and adjustable regarding their turning momentum. The levers have to be moved by the trainee from rest into an oscillating movement extending over approx. 160 deg. using attached coupling links which resemble skistocks. The levers can be oscillated through a switch over device so that they swivel unbraked during the working stroke and swivel braked during the return stroke.
