The ski stock handle has a spring bearing. It consists of a cap (4) which is attached to a stick by screws (1), a rubber cone (2), a platen3) and clamping plug (5). The cap (4) has a number of bores, and a grip pipe (8) which has a spring hold on the stick through rubber cords (7). The rubber cords extned through the bores in the cap and run through the interior of the grip pipe (8) being fixed at its ends. During the insertion of the stock into the ground the rubber cords are tensioned. The energy produced is released during the lifting of the stock and can be used to assist forward movement.
