Three dimensional games board with a chess board pattern arrangement. One unit of the three dimensional games board consists of several rectangular board planes which are positioned one above the other. The pattern of the game boards changes from plane to plane and the unit is made in such a way that game figures can be placed on to each field of each plane. This is obtained by at least two stays which support the upper board planes on their outside edges leaving sufficient space for the figures to be moved between them.
