The damper provides fluid transmission from at least one primary fluid chamber (3) deformable in the direction of the vibration movement. A secondary deformable chamber (5) has an effective cross-section which is smaller than that of the primary. When the primary chamber is deformed, the impelled fluid causes the secondary chamber to deform to a greater extent. A swinging mass (9) is accelerated by this and the resulting inertia causes a pressure variation in the fluid. This compensates the dynamic part of the spring force transmitted from the springs (2, 7) incorporated.
