Heat insulated composite metallic profiles - mfd. using two spacing fixtures for insulant pouring operation

Cpd. metallic profiles for use in the construction of frames for doors and windows are pref. designed with an interposed insulating material to prevent the transmission of cold outside temps. to the inside. The two metallic profiles are for this purpose held at a distance from each other in a fixture and the gap formed is closed on top and sides by adhesive tape. A second fixture is applied to the top and after a 180 degrees turn the first fixture can be removed. A liq. self-hardening insulating material is now poured into the gap and allowed to set. This method is suitable for prodn. in small quantities because no expensive machinery is needed.
