Plant includes a tubular-explosion chamber contg. an igniter plug, and an inlet pipe for cladding powder supplied by a doser fitted with a powder hopper. An inlet pipe is used to feed a carrier gas into the doser, and thus to carry the powder into the explosion chamber; a pressure controller regulates the amt. of carrier gas fed into the doser. A mixer is used to feed an explosive gas mixt. into the chamber. Electronic controller receives signals from a transmitting sensor, located on the open end of the chamber and indicating the presence of the cladding powder in the chamber. Controller then actuates a drive shaft fitted with a row of cams operating switches on the pipes feeding gases into the mixer to produce gas, and also controlling the igniter plug and the doser. The result is an automatic process.
