Shoe with outsole and insole mfr. - by applying adhesive to rubber sole in die for polyurethane insole

Shoes with two sales are mfd. in a machine where the prefabricated rubber outsole is laid in the bottom die. An adhesive is applied to the sole and is activated by radiant heat. The last with the uppers is partly dipped into the die and the space is filled with polyurethane. Compression then joins the outsole to the intermediate polyurethane sole and to the uppers. The result is an easier, faster and more reliable mfr. of such shoes which are spec. suitable as sports shoes.
