Guide frame for hand held circular saw - produces clean cut on large objects such as door panels using channel section beam

A hand held circular saw is able to cut long straight edges by means of a guide frame. The guide frame is mounted on a sheet of plastic measuring 1200mm. x 290mm. which has a central ridge extending over the whole length. The guide frame itself consists of a channel section beam which slides on the ridge. This beam carries two horizontal arms projecting at right angles to the channel section beam. These arms support the circular saw as it traverses the workpiece. This guide frame is esp. suitable for cutting objects such as door panels.
