Shower head with non-drip action - has resilient closing member only released by pressure of water flow

The distributor pipe of the shower heads has a closed end base and several radial openings set in front of the base in the flow direction and each closed by an expanding resilient tubular sleeve or other closing element which can be radially lifted off by the flow pressure. When the water supply is cut off no more water can flow from the pipe into the shower head so that there is no dripping and water does not remain in the head which could cause chalk to form. The sleeve can be surrounded by a tubular wall which with the sleeve forms an annular gap at least twice as thick as the sleeve and connected to the outside air.
