A reinforced mounting for a brake servo has simple clamping frames each end of the servo housing and linked to the mounting bracket by tensile bolts along the sides of the servo housing. The frames prevent distortion of the housing during braking. The frames have circular outer sections gripped by the bolts and inner rings over the hub of the servo, linked to the outer frames by radial arms. The frames allow a light construction servo housing for weight saving. The frames and tensile bolts are selected to suit the particular bulkhead mounting.
