Automatic call maker equipment for subscriber use has a store for the number being dialled so that if engaged or other condition is returned the number can be easily repeated by reading out from a special store. The dialled number is keyed into the keypad (BF) and transferred to a short term store (ZSP) for transfer to the code converter (WU) which sends the dialled number to line (AL). By operating a special button (ST) on the keypad the dialled number can also be fed into a special store (SMP) so that if engaged tone is encountered, further operaton of the special key (ST) reads out the number again for transmission to line and save redialling in entirety. The special keys (ST) operates into a central control circuit (STE) to enable this facility.
