A compact slide projector has two angled mirrors (11, 12) to project the slide onto a ground screen (6) on the front of the box, from a small projector (9) inside the box. The angle between the mirrors is fixed and both mirrors are moved by a servo drive (15) to adjust the magnification. The double reflection inside the box provides a long projection length without increasing the length of the box. This allows it to be mounted flush in the top surface of a tracing table.
