The drainage system stream divider has a deflecting plate fitted at the end of a carrier rod (2). This mounts laterally protruding supports (4) for fitting agains the internal walling of the bridge drain. They may be supported on a funnel-shaped inflow pipe. The plate can be elliptical in plan shape and attached to slope against the rod longitudinal axis. The radially projecting spacers (6) are pref oval cross-section.
