The device is for bending or twisting of the ends of wire mesh, which is manufactured in an automatic machine. When a predetermined wire length is achieved, the twisting process is interrupted for one working stroke. A control shaft (1) with cam is regulated for twisting, cutting and location of the wire mesh. The shaft has an associated lever system, consisting of two roller levers (3) with common pivot point (8), with one double-armed link (11), and a bending lever (12). The roller lever moves along the cam, and the bending lever is coupled to a bending plunger or twisting shaft (10).
