Dosage control system in bulk concrete mixing plants - calculates correction for volumes of additives and mixing water transmitting data to computer

A dosage control system monitors the constituents of a mixt. e.g. concrete mixt. The vol. of mixing water depends on the workability of the concrete. This is determined by the geometry of the grains and the water absorption properties of the cement and the additives. The watercement ratio is determined on the basis of the inherent moisture in the additives. This moisture is measured and used to evaluate the supply of mixing water. A correction value will be worked out for the volumes of a additives for a given container. This is followed by a similar correction for the vol. of mixing water inthe mixt. The data of the workability of the concrete is transmitted to a computer, which introduces the necessary changes in the dosages.
