A profiled recess in a post, to engage a latch and/or bolt of a lock, fixed to a door wing, is provided in a doorcase. The posts (11) are symmetrically profiled, and are formed with sealing surfaces aligned at an inclined angle to the plane of the door wing. The recess (12) pref. extends over most of the post width. It is closed by a covering batten (13) leaving a clear opening only at side edge points appropriate to the latch and/or bolt. The door wing can be hung left or right, inside or outside.
