The matching element is intended for connecting an active filter, consisting of electronic components, to an alternating voltage network. It consists of a circuit arrangement in which a transformer (3) is parallel-connected in the capacitor (2) of a resistance-capacitance element (1, 2) which is coupled to the alternating voltage network. The filter (4) is connected to the transformer secondary winding (30). Preferably the arrangement uses a trioidal transformer. The matching element requires little space. The resistance-capacitance element attains an attenuation of voltage peaks between phase and earth. The arrangement, e.g. for remote control receivers, enables network connection even to filters operating with electronic components for low operating voltages.
