Plastic distributor top for salt container - has closure slide with guide and stop ribs fitting into openings in top

A distributor top for e.g. a salt container has a central channel comprising parallel sides and a flat bottom recessed below the top face. An opening in the middle of the channel is continued part way up the sides. At one end are pouring holes, the other end having a large aperture. The holes and aperture are selectively closed by a flat slide (1) having a thumb indent (2) on top and provided with side checks (4) and horizontal ribs (3). This slide is fitted into the channel by flexing the sides of the slide until the ribs pass into the channel opening to form guides and stops when the slide is operated.
