Therapeutic compns contg. as active constituents cinnarizine and/or more of its salts, (I) and =1 4-chlorophenoxy-alkanoates of formula (II) (where R1 and R2 are H or 1-4C alkyl; R3 is H, 1-4C alkyl or a mono-, di- or tri-valent cation) are novel Clofibrate/cinnarizine compns. are synergistic and are effective in reducing blood levels of cholesterol when clofibrate itself is not effective. The compsn. has improved antithrombotic activity and has peripheral vasolidator activity.
