The juice extractor includes a sieve basket (25) rotated by a motor-driven upright shaft (18) and a grater disc (26) which rotates with the basket and is mounted at a distance beneath the outlet of a filler pipe (14) set eccentric relative to the shaft. The sieve basket (25) which is centred by means of a central opening in its base on the pin (23) of a plate (20) which is connected fixed against rotation to the motor shaft (18) only rests on the plate by means of the area (31) of the base surrounding the opening and is held at a distance from the plate radially outside of this area. The basket is pressed against the plate by a spring (30).
