Mine scraper chain conveyor line pan connector comprises coupling members both ends of the pan which have registered holes for screw bolts insertion. The bolts (22) are threaded at both ends (23, 23') and have additionally at one end a female polygon entry (24, 24'). Pref. the bolts should be symmetrical to their centre plane at right angles to the axis of the bolt. A cap nut (25) should be screwed onto one end of the bolts with a female polygon entry (27) in the base of the nut. The opening provided by the entry through the nut base should be wide enough to allow a tool to be passed through and so into the smaller entry in the bolt end (24, 24').
