The extractor and ejector is for a double-barrelled shotgun with two catches, and is mounted in the recess in the stock for the catches. It comprises a pivoting catch with a hook at the top working in conjunction with a notch on a hammer, the lower part of which forms a ramp working against the lower shaped portion of a strut fixed to the rocker. The bottom part of the hammer opposite the ramp has an internal socket for the front head of a spring-loaded hammer tappet. At the central part of the pivoting catch and below its pivot spindle there is a finger working in conjunction with a notch in the strut, and its lower part works with a boss on the cocking catch actuated by the striker. At the top of the strut is a lug working with the extraction or ejection arm.
