Hooked staples for securing reinforced resin panel to wall insulation - where the staples engage the panel reinforcement netting

Reinforced surface panels are secured to a layer of insulation material covering structural walls by securing the layer of woven or mesh reinforcement to the insulation layer by means of hooked staples, them impregnating the reinforcement with the panel resin. Specifically semi-interlocked slabs of expanded polystyrene are covered with wet laid resin reinforces by galvanised metallic netting secured by galvanised metal staples. The insulation is bonded to the wall by conventional adhesives based on cement/silica/PVC mixtures.
