Motor cycle rear luggage grid - has telescopic longitudinals housing buffer blocks acting as shock absorbers, underneath load surface

The rear wheel of a motorcycle has mounted above it a luggage grid(1) which has a shock absorber system built into it. This grid has two main longitudinals(3), bent up at the rear to carry the load support surface(2). At the front, are forked ends(11) for attachment near the top of the motor cycle rear shock absorbers. Suspended below each longitudinal is a U-shaped part(4), each with a lug(5) mounted on the bottom horizontal part. This enables a diagonal stay to be connected between the lug and the frame immediately above the rear whell. The forked ends are mounted on tubes(10) which slide inside the main longitudinals, against buffer blocks inside.
