Transport tariff calculating and ticket issuing system - has microprocessor, memories and printer for pricing tickets based on travelling distance

The system is designed to determine the distance between any two points in a transport network. The system has a calculating circuit which includes a microprocessor and a memory circuit which has at least a magnetic disc tape memory. The system is also designed to issue tickets and thus has complementary memory circuits for storing tarrif data. The calculating circuit is programmed to calculate the tarrif for each ticket from the distance between departure or arrival points or stations, or from tarrif parameters stored in the complementary memory. The system has a printer which is connected to the output of the calculating circuit. The printer is designed to print a ticket on which is inscribed all data relative to departure and arrival points and or relative to distance. The printer is of the point inscription type. The data being presented in the form of alphanumeric characters. Each character being formed from points of a matrix.
