The hollow slabbed ceiling, for single or multi-storeyed business industrial or agricultural buildings, is made up from reinforced or prestressed concrete prefabricated components, ready for installation, and flat with continuous horizontal hollow spaces inside. There are recesses (4) in the pressure aones of these components, parallel to each other, at an interval of pref. 600-1200 mm from the slab support bearing (2), running horizontally across the line of the cavities (3). These pref. impinge ofn the apex area of the cavities. They are covered by surface-finished cover panels (9) incorporating service ducts (13) which can be closed.
