The oven is of the type has a heated cooking chamber in which the prod. is continually turned on rotating, parallel, supporting rollers. The rollers are now mounted along-side each other in a chassis which can be removed like a sliding drawer through one wall of the oven. Drive transmission to the rollers is pref. disc-connected mechanically as withdrawal of the chassis commences, so there is no possibility of the rollers being rotated as they become accessible. Mechanical disconnection of drive transmission is pref. by axial withdrawal of roller shaft extensions from driving engagement with the bores of driven gears. A heat reflective tray fitted under the rollers can be pu lled out of the chassis, drawer-fashion. The appts. is easy to service and clean.
