The gravestone has a headstone with inscription (2) and/or a front component (3) mounted on the slab proper (1). The two or three components can be assembled together by means of dowels (4), screws, or gluing. The front component can be a prayer stool or flower box. The three components can be of enamelled stoneware, and the slab can form a hollow cover, the headstone and front component being fixed to the front and rear of it respectively.
