The switch moving contacts are arranged in the front part which is removable from the rear part housing the fixed contacts, busbars and incoming connects. The two parts of the switch when fixed together enclose a gaseous or liquid insulating medium. The moving contacts can be connected to the busbar housing by plug contact. The switch two parts are fixed together in the assembled state by two flanges between which is situated a gas sealing gasket. The part of the switch enclosing the moving contacts also houses an earthing switch.
