Floating caravan with detachable launching chassis - has retractable caissons at base providing trimaran keel when afloat, and foldable panels providing peripheral deck

The floating caravan has a rigid or pliable habitable part (1) the bottom of which is perfectly waterlight and which houses beneath it retractable caissons (2). While travelling on the road caissons and habitable part form a compact unit supported on a chassis (3) which also acts as a launcher. A float, the caissons provide a trimaran keel, a deck around the caravan give access to the roof and reduce the draught of the floating assembly. The deck is completed by folding panels (5, 6, 7) which fold down horizontally from the vertical walls of the caravan.
