The mould (8) comprises a tray of which the open side forms a major face of the product, being mounted on a pivotable frame (5) with integral vibrator (4). The fulcrum (1) of the frame is sited above the critical moulded edge; the unit being inverted once concrete has been poured, vibrated, and covered with a pallet (6). After inversion the pallet is blocked up (9) and released, the mould then reverse pivoting to effect striking and allow product removal.
